Turkish milk cake

 


Today, madam, we present to you a new way to make cake, which is from Turkish cuisine and is called “Trilcha”. It consists of a mixture of three types, namely evaporated milk, condensed milk or whole milk, whipping cream or cream.

Ingredients

  • Cake mix:
  • Milk: half a cup
  • Saffron: a quarter teaspoon (crumbled)
  • Flour: a cup and a half
  • Baking powder: one tablespoon
  • Salt: a quarter of a teaspoon
  • Eggs: 3 grains (large size)
  • Vanilla: a teaspoon (liquid)
  • Sugar: half a cup
  • Corn oil: half a cup

For impregnation:

  • Milk: a cup
  • Milk: 90 gm (can/evaporated)
  • Milk: half a can (390 gm / sweetener)

  • Cream: as desired (whipped / to decorate)
  • Saffron: to taste (for decoration)

How to prepare

  1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees, fix the middle rack.
  2. Bring a 9 by 13 inch oven dish. Brush it with butter.
  3. Cake mix: Put the saffron in the milk, leave it aside.
  4. Sift flour with baking powder and salt. Leave it aside.
  5. In the bowl of the mixer, put the eggs, vanilla and sugar, then fix the wire racket and beat on medium speed for a few minutes, so that the mixture becomes crispy, light in color, and slightly cohesive.
  6. Add the oil alternately with the milk, then add the flour. My heart lightly.
  7. Boy the mixture in the dish.
  8. Bake the cake for 20 minutes until golden.
  9. For impregnation: In a deep dish, put the milk, evaporated and sweetened milk, and stir to mix.
  10. Immediately after taking the cake out of the oven while it is still hot, spread the impregnation mixture over it. Leave it on the kitchen table to cool completely.
  11. Put it in the fridge for several hours.
  12. Put the cake on a serving plate, then spread an abundant layer of cream over it, sprinkle some saffron, and serve it.
