Ingredients

  • Butter: 125 grams
  • Brown sugar: a cup
  • Vanilla: a teaspoon
  • Eggs: 3 pieces
  • Flour: 3 cups
  • Baking soda: a quarter of a teaspoon
  • Yogurt: a cup and a half
  • Banana: ½ cup (mashed)
  • Walnuts: half a cup (chopped / to decorate)
  • Banana: half a cup (sliced / for decoration)
  • Cream cheese: 250 grams
  • Powdered sugar: a quarter cup
  • Yogurt: 2 tablespoons

How to prepare

  1. Preheat the oven at 180 degrees Celsius.
  2. Prepare a square oven tray, brush it with oil and flour and brush it with parchment paper.
  3. In a deep bowl, whisk well the butter with sugar, vanilla, and for a few minutes until you get a creamy texture.
  4. Add the eggs while continuing to whisk, then add the flour, soda bicarbonate, yogurt, and bananas, then stir until the ingredients are completely combined, then put the mixture in the tray and distribute it evenly.
  5. Insert the tray into the oven for about 45 minutes until it is fully cooked, then remove it from the oven and leave it aside until it cools down.
  6. For decoration: Whisk the cream cheese with the sugar well until the ingredients are completely combined, then add 2 tablespoons of yogurt while continuing to whisk until completely homogeneous, and decorate the cake with the mixture of cream cheese, banana slices, and walnuts, then serve it.
